Staande kogellagerunit (plummerblokken) bestaat uit een insteeklager dat is gemonteerd in een composietbehuizing die lichtgewicht maar robuust is en een uitstekende corrosiebestendigheid heeft. Deze variant is geschikt voor toepassingen met zowel constante als wisselende draairichtingen. Het heeft een binnenring die aan beide zijden is verlengd en wordt op de as vastgezet door een stelschroef op de binnenring vast te draaien, waardoor het eenvoudig te monteren is.
